Q. CAN ANYONE JOIN THE NETWORK?
A. Join us if you or your organisation is focused on helping the children, young people and adults involved with the welfare and justice systems in England.
Q. HOW DO I JOIN?
A. Click on the link below and send a message to a member of the GWSW team. We’ll then be in touch and ask you to complete an online sign-up form.
Q. What information do you ask for?
A. We ask for contact details and some information regarding your challenges, barriers and successes. This information shapes the efforts of the Taskforce and our National Work Plan.
If you work directly with participants, we also ask you to engage with some of them as part of your response. We want the voice of lived experience to be heard and amplified across the nation.
Q. what DOES it cost to join the network?
A. There is no financial cost associated with joining the network or accessing support.
Q. How do i REMAIN A MEMBER?
A. We will contact you every six months, asking you to update your sign-up form. This provides a constant feedback loop and ensures our work remains relevant.
Q. Who participates in TASKFORCE MEETINGS?
A. Taskforce meetings are chaired independently by Baroness Sater and attended by senior government officials. These meetings operate under a specific Terms of Reference. Their primary aim is to review data and insights produced by the Network and to formulate, assess, and implement the National Work Plan.
Q. How is get well stay well funded?
A. GWSW has received sponsorship from NHS England and Comic Relief. Furthermore, the Alliance of Sport is actively pursuing additional sponsors to enhance support for the network and expand the range of activities.
Q. CAN I OPT OUT?
A. Network members can leave at anytime, by either contacting us and asking to leave, or by not completing their form every six months.
